An endowment fund is the restricted capital that provides a permanent source of income for Archbishop Mitty High School. The principal is invested in a disciplined manner and the earnings and investment appreciation are channeled back into the fund. This allows the endowment to grow over time and become a source of long-term support that can be maintained permanently.
Endowments provide much needed funding for families who might not otherwise be able to afford a Catholic college preparatory education; they also provide funding for the programs and services from which all Archbishop Mitty students benefit. We continue our fundraising efforts towards “endowing our future” as we work to successfully achieve the $20 million goal of The Campaign for Archbishop Mitty.
