The AMHS swimming and diving programs have captured numerous WCAL and CCS championships over the years. This past season, members of the team captured individual WCAL Championships in the 100 Butterfly, 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle, 200 IM, and diving. Freshmen also brought home CCS Championships in men’s and women’s diving. This is the first time in the history of the CCS that two freshmen, let alone two freshmen from the same school, took home the CCS diving titles. Great job, Monarchs!
Coach Thomas Miller ’83 brings 32 years of experience coaching aquatic teams to the school. This year, Coach Miller was named the CCS Girls Swimming Honor Coach. He has been the head coach of the school’s swimming and diving teams for 30 years. Under his guidance, Monarchs have taken home an impressive 21 league and 11 CCS championships. In addition to that, more than 30 of his swimmers and divers have been named All-Americans.
