This past spring, student-athletes brought home individual WCAL championships in the 100-Meter Sprint, 200-Meter Sprint, the Men’s 4X100-Meter Relay, and Discuss. The Monarchs also won a CCS championship in the Men’s 4X100-Meter Relay. Congratulations, Monarchs!
Coach Gaspar Torregroza ’82 has been a vital member of the AMHS athletic community for decades. He has spent 28 years coaching track and field. For the past four years, he has been the head coach of the program at AMHS. So far, he has helped track and field athletes train for 18 league and six CCS titles.
