The women’s water polo team had a successful season. This fall, the team took the CCS quarterfinals, earning them a spot in the sectional semifinals. Over the years, the program has captured BVAL championships and a CCS championship. Great job, Monarchs!
Coach Lavelle has a decade of experience coaching water polo at the high school and club levels. In addition to coaching the AMHS men’s water polo program, he has been a coach for the DeAnza Cupertino Aquatics Program. In high school, he played four years of water polo at Bellarmine College Preparatory before competing collegiately in the sport for Boston College.
