The Corporate Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for Archbishop Mitty students to gain valuable experience in corporate and professional workplaces throughout the Silicon Valley. Created in 1998, under the leadership and guidance of the AMHS Board of Regents, this program is designed to provide educational opportunities outside of the traditional classroom.
The AMHS Corporate Internship Program has been recognized by the California Career Education Association and received its Presidential Award during the 1999-2000 school year.
Since 1998, over 50 Silicon Valley companies have participated in the program and over 425 students have benefited from this summer work experience. Not only are students provided positions in these companies, the internship also provides a means of financial support and these important experiences enhance their college resumes. The program is open to sophomore and junior students over 16 years old.
Students and parents interested in the 2018 Corporate Internship Program should plan to attend an information session on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Aymar Events Center.)
