SAT Test Prep

To help assist students with SAT test preparation, AMHS will be offering on-site prep courses during the summer and the school-year. To access the most current schedule, please click here. The cost for the prep course is $335. To register, please click here. Student will need their ID#. For students who are currently receiving financial assistance, please contact me (tmenor@mitty.com) directly for registration.

It is best to take the prep class as close to your SAT test date as possible (please discuss with your counselor).  If your schedule does not allow this option, you can sign up for the summer prep course and retake as many classes as you need during the school year at no additional charge.

 The counseling department recommends that students sign up for the course if they have completed or are concurrently enrolled in Algebra II.  Since attendance is crucial for a successful prep course, students who are planning to miss more than two class sessions should seek alternative test prep options.  These options could include Khan Academy, other prep courses, and one-on-one tutoring.   

Important: Students must register for the SAT test separately through CollegeBoard. Mitty does not automatically register students.
